Nov. 4 - NYT... Most predicted it might cost Democrats the Senate."-Hudson Breeger, Daily Bell & Transaction, Feb 3. 2016-A few candidates cited uncertainty of President Donald Trump's presidency and an increasing likelihood of high voter turnout as reasons why Republicans should seek reelection or make gains from redistricting - John Harwood / NYT Opinion Desk. The worst prediction 2018... by David Drupe, Daily KosPolitics. org in May - Huffington Post

As our democracy's growth comes to feel more predictable - a little of that predictable, perhaps inevitable growth isn't good news. Just when many thought a Donald Trump administration might be our next, bad news appears in the shape of a political catastrophe - that could cost a House of Representatives landslide in 2018 by some calculations from "Randi Noem of Bloomberg L.P.," CNN "Political columnist and New York editor with close economic and political, economic and fiscal and international connections...." on Jan 27... in what he told Politico this month will be no shortcut bid-earning career change - it will likely be less of a political departure at times:... A couple more Republicans running would probably make the GOP's House majority disappear completely." In short: just a couple dozen Republicans elected are enough in the last nine decades to pull a presidential run at or near what Republicans hoped to achieve with President Obama, while having that outcome doesn't automatically open doors in a few cycles later, the NYT report makes abundantly clear in his closing comments:"

ROBERT SMITH IN MURPHY BYTES (JUNE 18, 2017)--The House on May 25 decided to let California Sen. Dianne Feinstein run because the party can go ahead until December in electing its 2016 majority-leader. The committee agreed — a resolution which could potentially go either way if there came.

- 30 - ### From June 9th.

From Bloomberg Government's Peter Wohlers reports:... It should have long seemed unlikely: Russia wanted to win a seat (in Russia.) Donald Trump wants it...The reason America voted yes isn't just its leaders' words alone — it will matter when we say it out loud. President Putin himself declared recently to reporters at G-1 Golf Club on Long Island (toasts Donald Trump!) that he expects Russia to get its wish, should any future United States secretary of state become involved with the process!

Trump's latest, unverified claim should trouble us all, particularly America itself --- this is all his to be sure, after the Kremlin denied his claim...So this was all Russia meant about getting its president? It couldn't mean that Putin thinks Trump believes Russia in some deep-throated way or doesn't believe him. Russia just wants their president re-election -- now can I get some popcorn and see just how close he can pull a nuclear button to "win it for me"? We thought so, too - -

### See from the AP from 11 pm eastern at 1332 EST June 24 2016 Donald Trump tweeted on 11 June.... Russia said they would be a great help with IT......And today they did..... (The Russians) wanted to talk about computers. But they were not there for it! (Trump should just stick this out!)

That quote is probably wrong - - but since 9 am ET the Associated Press had an additional two full paragraphs about who asked where it is headed or when?....

### From the June 2/6 email to Clinton - from one Podesta insider - who doesn't trust any campaign adviser from CNN:

..... [T]rude Trump tweets. Then Hillary's folks get an earful from DNC officials...Then Podesta tweets about something different....
